Benchtop Labs

Privacy Policy

Benchtop Labs is built on an absolute commitment to developer respect and data minimalism. We do not track you, we do not monetize your browsing habits, and we collect zero personal surveillance data.

1. Zero Telemetry & No Tracking Cookies

We do not use advertising cookies, marketing pixels, device fingerprinting, or third-party behavioral trackers. You can browse Benchtop Labs, inspect automated benchmark results, and copy installation commands with complete anonymity.

Our Commitment: We believe modern developer directories should be fast, static, and respectful. No tracking banners, no consent popups, and no surveillance capitalism.

2. Public Open Source Code & Benchmarking

All projects featured on Benchtop Labs are public open-source software distributed under OSI-approved licenses (such as MIT, Apache 2.0, or BSD). The diagnostic data displayed on the site—including license presence, wheel dimensions, commit recency, and test outputs—is obtained exclusively from publicly accessible repositories and registry APIs (PyPI, npm, GitHub).

3. Sandboxed Verification Environments

Automated bench tests are executed inside isolated, containerized environments. Build tests and clean install verifications are ephemeral: once the test completes and the standardized diagnostics are logged, the sandbox environment is purged entirely.

4. External Links

Our directory provides direct outbound links to GitHub repositories, documentation pages, package registries, and creator profiles. When you follow these external links, your interactions are governed by the respective privacy policies of those external platforms.

5. Contact & Governance

Benchtop Labs was founded by Ameya Kulkarni. If you have questions regarding our privacy practices or wish to inquire about open-source verification, contact us via GitHub (@Ameya79) or LinkedIn.
